Consultant and Researcher with a double-background in Political Philosophy and International Law (LL.M. in International humanitarian law and human rights) with experience in international cooperation, acquired working for governments, international organisations and NGOs.

As a researcher, I have been working on the ethical and legal challenges raised by the substitution of human operators with artificial intelligence systems and on the ethical design of robots and AI systems. I work as an Expert Consultant on such topics for the Department of Digital Transformation of the Italian Government, and as a Research Fellow in the Ethics and Human Rights of AI and Robotics at the Biorobotics Institute at the Biorobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.

I have published scientific articles in peer-reviewed internaitonal journals of the area and presented my work participating to conferences and seminars both in Italy and abroad.
